1983 - Steve releases the Mark Eden produced 'Christmas Song' as 'Mr Steve' on his own Town & Country label

1984 - Mark and Steve team up again to record the controversial 'One Road' at Movement Studios in Taunton. Funded by the Transport & General workers union to celebrate the anniversary of the shipping of the 'Tolpuddle Martyrs' the reggae tinged song featuring Adrienne Loehry on backing vocals and Tim Mycroft on keyboards is released on Albion Records causes a bit of a ruckus in the National Press.

1989 -
Mark , Steve and Adrienne Loehry once again join forces to record a follow up to the Schoolgirls 'Life in the 1980's' called not unsurprisingly 'Life in the 1990's'. Shortening the moniker to simply 'The Martians' the resultant Deacon Blue influenced production released through Rough Trade on Red Planet Records features a slick multi layered slide guitar solo by Mark Eden worthy of Hari-Georgeson (of Beatles fame) himself.
